Citizens of the World Conference

On Saturday, April 16th, the Bishop Walker School will host an all day conference from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  for African-American boys in grades Kindergarten -8th who attend independent schools in the Greater Washington area. The conference will feature age appropriate activities about the African-American journey from Africa to the United States, the African-American impact on the United States, and the state of African-American males in today's society. Lunch and physical health activities will be provided for participants. In the afternoon, there will be a panel discussion on the topic of "How to Raise Positive African-American Male Citizens" for parents, educators and administrators. For more information on the event, please contact: citizensoftheworld2011@gmail.com
