Volunteer With Us
.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Bishop Walker School! As BWS grows, so does our need for dedicated volunteers. Volunteers demonstrate their support of what we do, and lend much-needed help in our beginning years. Here are some ways we could use your contributions of time, talent, and treasure in the 2015-16 school year:

Lunch Buddies
Lunch Buddies are men ages 21 and older from all professional backgrounds who spend one hour a month with one of our classes. A Lunch Buddy has lunch with his assigned class and reads, plays at recess or shares a hobby/personal interest with them. Lunch Buddies form close connections with their assigned class, and men and boys both benefit from spending quality time together.

Librarians
Both the Primary School and Upper Primary School need volunteer librarians to help students check out books from the library as well as perform basic organizational duties such as shelving, alphabetizing and labeling books. Volunteers are needed at both locations for a minimum of 30 minutes, one day a week.

Handy Person
We are seeking a volunteer handy person that could give some time to doing simple handy tasks around the school such as touch up painting, doorknob repairs and other small projects.
