Frederick Douglas stated, "It is better to build a boy than repair a man." The Bishop John T. Walker School has been entrusted with the care of some of the most vulnerable members of our society––young boys of color from underserved communities. Every day we help our students find their gifts and talents to help them discover who they can become.
Setting high expectations for outstanding student achievement, the Bishop Walker School provides a strong foundation of academics, Episcopal faith traditions, service to others, and pride in oneself.
Programs: Our Approach
A Bishop Walker School gentleman embodies honesty, respect, responsibility, and perseverance. Through worship, character education, and community service, our students’ self-awareness, spirituality, and connection to others are deepened.
